About the Show
2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the North's Greatest Garden event, the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park, supported by Bruntwood. Set in the stunning grounds of 1,000-acre deer park in Cheshire, the show has become synonymous with ground-breaking new talent, a focus on urban greening and grow your own inspiration, all set within an inclusive, friendly Show.
The RHS Young Designer competition also celebrates a landmark year with a decade of kick-starting the careers of budding designers aged 28 and under, and the popular competition will provide more opportunity than ever in 2018 by extending its shortlist of finalists from three to five to mark the 10 year anniversary.
Previous finalists and winners of the competition have gone on to design at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, including Hugo Bugg (2010) and Sam Ovens (2014), who also won a Gold Medal at the first ever RHS Chatsworth Flower Show this year, while RHS Young Designer finalist Kate Savill and 2015 winner Tamara Bridge designed The Jo Whiley Scent Garden as part of the BBC Radio 2 ‘Feel Good Gardens’ at the world famous flower show in 2017.
A host of other Show favourites will also feature to celebrate RHS Tatton turning twenty, including amazing Show Gardens, Feature Gardens, Back to Backs, famous faces in the Talks Theatre and more than a few birthday surprises... ensuring that visitors are sure to have a brilliant family day out in the last lazy, hazy days of summer at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
