About the Show
RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is the world’s largest annual flower show boasting an eclectic mix of gardens and displays over 34 acres either side of the dramatic long water.
Alongside show sponsor Viking Cruises, the show offers a stunning selection of gardens designed and created by word-class designers. The 2018 flower show is set to be filled with fabulous displays, inspiring gardens and plenty of creativity all set against the stunning backdrop of the historical palace.
As well as the show-stopping gardens, there’s lots to see and do. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful setting and discover the different sculptures, plus plenty of nurseries and tradestands featuring the best, newest, finest and most unusual and colourful blooms and products in the different marquees.
As well as a having a horticultural focus, the show also features the popular Cookery Theatre with celebrity chefs giving demonstrations and talks throughout the week, making the show a great day out for everyone, from serious gardeners to first-time champions alike.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities with an exciting line-up for little visitors including the popular Scarecrow Competition which sees primary schools across the South East add imaginative twists to traditional scarecrow designs. Plus, children under 16 can go for free with a paying adult.
This year’s Preview Evening on Monday 2 July will celebrate the show’s opening and allow visitors to enjoy live music with friends and family while viewing the beautiful gardens and floral displays before its official opening on Tuesday. A magnificent fireworks display will mark the special occasion.
Situated just on the doorstep of London, the show is a great day for those looking to escape the city and spend the day amongst the blooms.
