FAMILY EVENTS
Spring Plant Fair

Sun 3 May, 10am - 4pm
Held in conjunction with Plant Heritage, specialist nurseries will be at the garden selling a range of quality plants. The RHS Advisory team will also be available to answer all your questions. Normal garden admission

The Harlow Carr Rhododendron Show
Sat 9 - Sun 10 May, 10am - 4pm
The Harlow Carr Rhododendron, Camellia and Magnolia group will be at Harlow Carr all weekend offering advice, guided woodland walks and an exclusive talk. View collections from local growers who will be showcasing the very best specimens the region has to offer in our Rhododendron competition judged by RHS judges. The competition is open to everybody so if you are interested in showing your own collection please visit the RHS website for more information. Normal garden admission

May Half Term Fun: Superpower flowers
Sat 23 - Sun 31 May, 10am - 4pm
Harlow Carr celebrates the power of flowers this half term. Youngsters can get their hands dirty by joining in with the hidden superpower flower trail and fun craft workshops. Fans of buzzing bees will be pleased to know that the Harrogate & Ripon Beekeepers will be here on 30 and 31 May displaying their skilled craft with a range of demos. Your own busy bees can join in the activities with the annual waggle dance on the lower lawn. Normal garden admission

The Beekeeping Open Weekend
Sat 30 - Sun 31 May, 10am - 4pm
The Harrogate & Ripon Beekeepers will display their skilled craft and run a range of demonstrations including candle making, honey extraction and skep making. Normal garden admission

The Ceramic and Glass Exhibition

A wide range of glass and ceramics, perfect for your home and garden. Normal garden admission

Spring Craft Fair
Tue 12 May - Sun 7 June, 10am - 4.30pm
The gorgeous Spring Craft Fair returns with a fabulous selection of modern craft. A range of beautiful and original gifts on offer from jewellers, felt makers, textile artists, card makers, photographers, furniture makers and many more. Normal garden admission

ADULT EDUCATION COURSES & WORKSHOPS
Tree and Woodland Photography
2 May, 1 – 4pm
Professional photographer Edward Parker will show how simple adjustments can really improve your photography. Members £55, non-members £63. Call 020 3176 5830 to book.

Willow Dragonflies
21 May, 10am – 4pm
Willow craftsman Phil Bradley guides you through the weaving techniques needed to create a wonderful willow dragonfly to take home. Members £65, non-members £73. Call 020 3176 5830 to book.

Introduction to Dry Stone Walling
30 May, 10am – 4pm
Learn the basic principles of dry stone wall construction and build a small section of wall.

The Garden is open every day except for Christmas Day.

Last admission is one hour before closing time.
