Planting seeds at RHS Garden Wisley
RHS Garden Wisley is celebrating Easter with a colourful programme of activities for all the family to enjoy whatever the weather. Hop around the garden on the Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt, get stuck into craft activities, and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring as the garden bursts into bloom.
This Easter events available every day will get kids out into the garden with music, storytelling and hands-on activities, and these can be enjoyed at no added cost to the standard garden entry fee. Little ones can join in the Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt and search the garden on the trail of the Lindt Gold Bunny, following clues to lead to a delicious Lindt treat. Spring bulbs will be blooming and there will be den-building, as well as spring wildlife to spot from the bird hide.
Food lovers will also be in for a treat at Easter with everything from traditional marzipan-topped simnel cake to indulgent rice- crispy cake studded with chocolate eggs. Our artisan bakery will be making Wisley hot cross buns – enjoy them in the garden or buy a bag to take home – and the restaurant will be serving a seasonal Easter-inspired menu.

About the RHS
The Royal Horticultural Society was founded in 1804 by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood for the encouragement and improvement of the science, art and practice of horticulture. We held our first flower shows in 1820, were granted a Royal Charter in 1861 and acquired RHS Garden Wisley, the first of our gardens, in 1903. From our first meetings in a small room off London’s Piccadilly, we have grown to become the world’s largest gardening charity.
Today the RHS is committed to providing a voice for all gardeners. We are driven by a simple love of plants and a belief that gardeners make the world a better place. 211 years on we continue to safeguard and advance the science, art and practice of horticulture, creating displays that inspire people to garden. In all aspects of our work we help gardeners develop by sharing our knowledge of plants, gardens and the environment.
RHS membership is for anyone with an interest in gardening. Support the RHS and secure a healthy future for gardening. For more information call: 0845 130 4646, or visit www.rhs.org.uk/join
